PMC Hosts Dinner Celebrating PMC Cares

Parking Management Company (PMC) hosted a "Mask-erade" dinner on October 13th, 2020 at Acme Feed & Seed in downtown Nashville. PMC associates and scholarship winners were invited to dine with each other in celebration of PMC Cares, the company's scholarship and Employee Assistance foundation.

The "Mask-erade" dinner was planned by Area Manager JT Manor and Human Resources Manager Elizabeth Hagler, with support from chairwomen Shannon Cahill and Lynley McCarley. The event raised additional proceeds for PMC Cares while also celebrating its success in aiding employees over the past year.

Attendees enjoyed a delicious meal and open bar catered by Acme Feed & Seed, with music provided by James and the Wild Spirit. The band's guitar player Carson Medders is also a PMC hotel account manager. After the events of 2020, PMC associates were thrilled at the opportunity to reconnect with co-workers in a safe and socially distanced setting.

"The Mask-erade Dinner was amazing. It was great to see the PMC team come together in a difficult time to raise money for our teammates," said CEO Tee McCarley.

PMC Cares provides scholarship opportunities to PMC employees and their children. 2020 scholarship winners Jerry Dismukes and Austin Cunningham (pictured below) were in attendance. Jerry and Austin both spoke at the event and expressed gratitude to their manager JT Manor for his constant encouragement and help in filling out their scholarship applications.

The Jeffrey V Fund, PMC's Employee Assistance program, seeks to support PMC associates in a time of need. The company was happy to provide assistance to three associates during the COVID-19 pandemic. With the ongoing support of PMC Cares from events like the "Mask-erade" dinner, PMC will continue to invest in their employees' future endeavors and support them in their times of need.

Second Annual Clay Shoot

Parking Management Company (PMC) held its second annual clay shoot event on October 15th, 2019 at the Nashville Gun Club. The event was in celebration and support of PMC Cares, the company's charitable foundation that seeks to provide scholarship opportunities for employees and their children.

"The 2019 PMC Cares Clay shoot turned out to be a great success thanks to our partners and teammates.  The money we raised will be much appreciated by the teammates and families of those receiving scholarships." said Justin Hill, VP of Human Resources.

With the fundraising efforts of PMC employees, generous sponsors, and the PMC Cares board of directors, the company was able to raise over $30,000 for the scholarship fund.

Led by chairwomen Shannon Cahill and Lynley McCarley, the event featured a full round of clay shooting for 20 teams, with over 100 people attending. A lively reception followed, catered by sponsor Peg Leg Porker. The company held a silent auction and raffle contest to generate additional proceeds, and CEO Tee McCarley graciously served guests at the bar. Live music was provided by The Beens, a band comprised almost entirely of PMC employees.

PMC Cares was founded last year with the goal of giving back to the community and making a difference in the lives of employees and their families. The company is excited to continue hosting their annual clay shoot event and encourages anyone who would like to support PMC Cares to attend next year.

PMC would like to thank platinum sponsor Peg Leg Porker and gold sponsors Paycom, Daily Pay, and Southland Tickets for their valuable contributions.

Giving Opportunity a Shot

Parking Management Company believes it is important to invest in our employees and their children by offering scholarship opportunities to help further their education. This was the impetus of our own charitable foundation called PMC Cares.

"PMC Cares and the PMC Employee Scholarship Fund are the result of dedicated planning to ensure we establish the best possible system to take care of our employees and support our communities," said Tee McCarley, CEO of PMC. "So after all that work, it was thrilling to hold our first ever official fundraiser that allowed our friends and partners to join us to help provide opportunity to hardworking individuals in the PMC family."

The PMC 1st Annual Employee Scholarship Fund Sporting Clays Shoot was held the afternoon of Tuesday, October 16th at The Nashville Gun Club. It celebrated the work of our employees, allowed us to engage with friends and colleagues, and, most importantly, raised funds for future scholarships.

"Clay shooting in many ways mirrors the work we do – it requires concentration and attention to detail but at the same time, its collegial and you have a great time doing it," said Tim Wilson, PMC founder/ executive chairman. "This event is uniquely ours and will serve to make a real difference in lives, in the future we encourage anyone with an interest in shooting or giving back to deserving individuals to attend."

The event sold out of four team sponsorships as well as individual shooter passes with nearly 100 people in attendance.
